I love brazillian jiu-jitsu.
BJJ, grappling, submission wrestling… call it what you want.. wasn’t always a passion of mine. My journey only started about 4 years ago. Before that I was a lazy, pot smoking, video gamer.
I still smoke pot and play video games but now i’ve introduced jiu-jitsu to my diet.
After 4 years, I should be a way better grappler than I currently am, and i’m not about to make any excuses. In the beginning, I simply did not try hard enough. I quit for about a year and now I’m back.
Version 2.0, or maybe just 1.2.. focused, dedicated.
You can bullshit a lot of things in life: A job interview, a date with a hot chick, a school exam..
But there’s one thing you can’t bullshit, and that’s jiu-jitsu.
There’s only one way to get better at jiu-jitsu and that’s by spending alot of time doing jiu-jitsu…Alright, watching youtube videos can help too.
I’m not a pro at jiu-jitsu, i’m still a white belt working my way to a blue belt.
But it’s not about the rank, it’s about the journey.
